Time for Bragging Rights, it's kinda like Survivor Series except that it's in October! We have five matches on the card, including a 60 minute Ironman match for the WWE Title and a fatal four way for the World Heavyweight Title. And they will both suck...

Believe it or not it's time for another PPV. In a follow up to Breaking Point, which I thought did not go over well with fans, they decide to copy most of the card and put everything in a cell. And if copying a concept that TNA started in hopes to get some "wow-factor" revenue is any kind of meter as to where the WWE sits creatively....well, let the crap waterfall start flowing.

So long Unforgiven, we hardly knew thee... (1998-2008). Move over for Breaking Point, a new submission style ppv where all main events are submission matches.

Because I'm a little crunched for time (packing and moving currently), instead of my usual paragraph or two per match, I'll give you my three points.

Of all the PPVs, SummerSlam is often the one that delivers the most from top to bottom. Maybe the boys are in a good mood because the weather is nice. I don't know but I find SS often surpasses WrestleMania (which overall won't be much of a trick this year)

The card may not yet be complete, but I will go through what we have so far...

The show was awesome! Was held at the former ECW arena in phily and was taped for PPV. If you can catch the PPV, please watch it. The wrestling was unbelieveable and I saw the best match possibly ever. There is a team called the young bucks. They seriously look like the Hardy boys but they can work. You have too see their match. All the matches were great except one. 2 cold Vs kenny Dystra (yes from spirit squad) was not good to me. They are going to run the next show Nov 28th at the arena....

TNA has a weird ability in that, even though I watch it weekly, I can't remember a damn thing that happens the following week. I think it goes to show that, even with all the talent in the world (which TNA has), if you can't put on an entertaining show, no one will remember or care. Sounds like Edge was hurt pretty badly at a house show in San Diego and is going to be out several months. Preliminary reports are a torn Achilles tendon. I wonder what that will do to the tag belts and Jericho. The writers have sucked when they have months to think things out. I can't imagine what they'll come up with on the fly.

Story line or not, I was deeply insulted while watching Raw tonight. Insulted as a wrestling fan, insulted as someone who really enjoys the product and seeks quality entertainment week in week out. So when Vince named Trump the new "Owner/GM" of Raw, it was a giant slap to the face. The crowd was dead, McMahon almost laughed as he said the words, and the announcers were quiet. What does this do for the product? Why not bring back someone with some credibility. Where's...

According to internet reports, Batista suffered a complete tear of his bicep, not partial as they had hoped. He is now out for another extended period. How many major muscle tears is this for him? You don't think steroids could possibly be involved, do you? I wonder how much longer the WWE will go with him. Every time the push him as a top guy he suffers a major injury. They have to be at least considering cutting their losses.

World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of SmackDown Superstar Umaga as of today, June 8, 2009. WWE wishes Umaga the best in all future endeavors.

Umaga (real name Edward Fatu) had been with WWE since 2006 and is a two-time Intercontinental champion.
