So I would not know what my reaction would be. So what was my reaction as a die hard Mets fan? ANGRY! Anger towards the Mets organization and all the hours of baseball I watch each yr to support my team only to be let down. Congrats to the yanks and I hope the Wilpons WAKE UP!

Dolphins (+10.5) @ Patriots: 'Phins coming off a sweep of division rivals the Jets go into New England where the Patriots seem to have found their groove. Still, at first glance I thought the Dolphins were getting severely disrespected with a double-digit spread. But upon further review, in the win over the Jets, special teams and defense accounted for 21 of 30 points. The offense managed 3 FGs. That isn't going to cut it on the road against a Tom Brady offense. Patriots win.

Texans (-3.5) @ Bills: Good match up between two eclectic teams. Bills have pulled off a couple of upsets and Houston is coming off a solid win against the 49ers. I think the Texans are the more talented team overall and I do like them to take this one but an upset woud not shock me.

Dolphins (+3.5) @ Jets: Revenge game for the Jets. Coming off a dominating win over a substandard Raiders team, the Jets need to continue that roll. I'm sure Rex Ryan has come up with a...

Packers @ Browns - The Packers certainly have their problems, like leading the league in sacks allowed and tons of penalties. They'll have to clean those things up if they want to be a true contender. But they shouldn't have a problem scoring plenty of points in Cleveland, and the Browns have a pathetic offense. Packers win.

Chargers @ Chiefs - The talented Chargers vs the much less talented Chiefs. You'd think an easy Chargers win, but like every year under Norv Turner...

Texans at Bengals - Bengals win: The Bengals have swagger atop their division, too much swagger for the Texans to handle.
Lions at Packers - Packers win: If Aaron Rodgers can't get some protection when he drops back, this will be a lot closer.
Ravens at Vikings - Vikings win: The Ravens rush defense forgot to show up this season, have fun AP!

Patriots @ Broncos - 3-1 Pats vs the surprising 4-0 Broncos. I never thought Denver's defense would be this improved with a bunch of no names on the defensive line, but Mike Nolan has done an incredible job. Probably the biggest talent on defense (besides Champ Bailey) is Elvis Dumervil, who is tied for the league lead in sacks with 8. And that's a big key to this game. As good as Denver's...

Bengals (-6) @ Browns: The Browns are quickly emerging as one of the if not THE worst team in the NFL this year. Out for the season, probably career over. Normal treatment for this degenerative condition is a knee replacement when pain gets too bad. No way he can play with that. Too bad for the Giants and really too bad for Kenny on a personal level. Giants will miss him.

Titans (+3) @ Jets: The winless Titans at the undefeated Jets. Did I really just write that? Yep. Titans certainly are better than 0-2. But the Jets have earned their 2-0 start. Its not luck. Its not bad calls. Its defense, a solid running game and a young QB who doesn't get rattled. Titans also always bring a solid D. But Belichick threw everything but the kitchen sink at Sanchez and he hung in and found his rhythm. I really think its going to take some doing to knock this...

Didn't get it off to a good start last night, as the Mets offense did very little again. The few runs they got off of Lowe were really gift runs because the Braves botched the double play ball. Perez was his usual inconsistent self, but I thought he looked a little better than his last outing. Hopefully he is going in the right direction.

How depressing is it that the Mets are 8 behind Philly in the loss column? And it's still gonna be awhile before our players come back....
